The ALS Controls Group builds and maintains many of the control and data
acquisition systems
for the Advanced Light Source Accelerator and some of the beamlines.
This includes designing, building, and maintaining
control and data acquisition systems for accelerators, test stands, and
detector projects in such fields as physics, materials science, and biology.
